How does route optimization work?

Waypoint uses real drive times from Google Maps and a nearest-neighbor algorithm to find the most efficient order for your stops. It factors in your starting location, traffic, and any time constraints you've set.

Why does Waypoint need my location?

Your location is used to calculate routes from your current position and to find nearby places. Waypoint only accesses your location while the app is open — never in the background.

What is Waypoint Pro?

Waypoint Pro is a $8.99/month subscription that unlocks AI-powered errand input and the multi-day calendar planner. It includes a 7-day free trial and can be cancelled anytime.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone and select Waypoint. You can also manage it directly in the app under the Profile tab → Manage Subscription.

My errands disappeared after signing out — what happened?

Waypoint syncs your errands to the cloud when you're signed in. If you delete errands and sign out, those deletions are saved. Sign back in and your current errand list will be accurate. If you're seeing unexpected behavior, contact us at support@saiftechs.com.

The AI input isn't working. What should I do?

AI input requires an active internet connection and a Waypoint Pro subscription. If you're on Pro and still seeing an error, try signing out and back in, then try again. If the issue persists, email us with a description of what you typed.

How do I restore my Pro subscription on a new device?

Open Waypoint, go to the Profile tab → Upgrade to Pro → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that originally purchased the subscription.
